New Forum Features Added - Click Here   05/28/2016

New Features When you mouseover the badge showing who liked a post, you will now see a larger list of who liked that post. You can still click to get the full list. Ratings now show half-stars for the average (for example, if one user votes 3 stars and another 4, it will show 3 and a half stars) and there is now an indication if you have rated something. A "Preview" button has been added to the post editor which shows how the post will appear after processing. Tabs show how the post will appear on desktop, tablet and mobile.. You can now filter searches by specific forums/categories. :Activity Stream enhancements The filter dropdowns now have an "Apply" button for better usability (previously you had to click outside the dropdown). The "Expanded/Collapsed" toggles are now clearer. Hitting back from a clicked item in any activity stream now remembers your position and loaded results.

Pretty well sums up Memorial Day
    • Canadian Shield Lake Trout depths/feeders
I'm told that the Lakers that lay on the bottom are inactive and rarely bite. So my question for the guys running downriggers is, do you still run your downriggers at consistent depths like 30 or 60 fow hoping to find active feeding trout or do you go where the fish are and run your balls down close to the bottom hoping you can get them to bite?

Who has a smallie update for me?

Whatever.  Maybe we could talk about some no hope candidate waging a futile battle to get over 1% of the vote.  Or a scheme to employ legions of ASCME workers to supervise welfare mothers picking up trash in the park...

No please, Let's just keep discussing Rochester. It's so interesting for the rest of us!

That's where you are wrong.... Hate to tell you but Hillary is getting elected anyway. Maybe no hope for this election cycle but you have to lay building blocks for the future. The Republican party the way it is has proven not to be the future of conservatism. I would be happy if Republicans start taking note of that now that their nominee is an outsider like Trump and the Libertarian party is poised to take a record setting share of the vote, plus the fact that they got spanked the last 2 elections.. Think the establishment is bright enough to start catching on?

So start a company with Judy watchers and bid on the contracts..... You gonna pay a Judy "prevailing wage"?
    • $15 per hr to flip burgers
Yeah, roger the downtown thing.  But Whiskey Creek and Poppa Johns are/were pretty far south.  And the minimum wage thing hasn't happened yet either.   Gotta be more to it than that.

Even today you still need to swing a hammer and shovel. As to the rest of the functions, they are no more complicated than using the apps on a smart phone. Trucks are as easy or easier to drive than ever before and so are dozers, skid loaders etc.    As to the commie comment. Yeah, it may seem so but Otoh one of the few things that government is needed to do is to provide infrastructure. This can either be done directly by the feds or subbed out to indy contractors. To be honest my preference would be to close down welfare to all but emergency cases and have private subs do all infrastructure work but that seems unlikely at this time so if the feds are paying people through the welfare system we at least should be getting work out of them while also teaching them skills that can help get them work in the future in the private sector. One way or the other we have infrastructure in need of repair and we have people getting paid for nothing. I see no benefit to the country in hiring private sector companies to build infrastructure while also paying people to sit at home and watch judge judy.
