Lots of great deer and photos! Had one of my best deer seasons ever as my 10 year old son got his first deer. Made a perfect shot with great grandmas 30/30. Kind of cool as my dad and I also got a deer..

Got it done in Wyoming today after several days of tough hunting. Still out here trying to fill my hunting partner's tag, will post story later.

After 6 years of trying to get a buck my best hunting buddy got one this morning. He was hot after a doe and she dropped him in his tracks. It was awesome.

I'll tell her. She hasn't missed a single weekend of deer hunting since she was 10. Shes worked hard for it.

My son made a great shot on this tall spike on very first hunt. He has sat with me in the past but we decided mid week he was finally ready to take a shot if the opportunity presented itself, but first he had to pass the Grandpa deer hunting safety class!

Got a buck and a doe Saturday morning in western MN. The buck was a small 8. The doe was actually slightly larger than the buck. Nothing to write home about but got some meat in the freezer. My younger son is pictured with both deer.

I  took this 8 point yesterday morning. It was the last morning for my brother. I promised him I would take a mature deer if I saw one. This guy came in after a rattle/grunt sequence. I normally would have passed but  my bro really wanted a deer and he only gets to hunt a few days.

I filled the freezer with a nice 2 1/2 year buck this weekend.  Tough hunting this year with the warm weather and standing corn, but patience paid off near the end of the season.  He will be delicious!
