Not having cable I watch alot of TV series on DVD. He are some of my recommendations that I think are awesome.

Deadwood (HBO)

Six Feet Under (HBO) One of the all-time best ever series.

Rome (HBO)

Arrested Development (FOX) What a shame that this show was canceled.

Entourage (HBO) fairly good

Threshhold (FOX) Not bad if you watch from the beginning.
