TV personality to fish with?

It would be fun to go bass fishing with Jimmy Houston.

I've heard from someone who has actually fished with him that he's as arrogant as they come.

I'd still take Al Lindner any day. For you guys too young to remember, he started the popularity of fishing shows up in the north. I can remember watching him on TV when it was filmed in black and white.

Anyone else remember these old "facts of fishing" shows?

I've fished with Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston and Aaron Martens all of which were extremely arrogant and not very helpful. I've fished with Al Lindner , Gary Roach and Larry Nixon and they were three of the nicest, most helpful people I've ever met. I would still like to fish with Mark Davis just to learn how one of the best fishes crankbaits.

Funniest show I ever saw was when he was sturgeon fishing and the guy he was with talked him into hopping in a float tube to land it. LMAO

Nothing funnier than a pro talked into doing something dumb and being pulled around a lake by a fish like a bobber.

Did you guys ever see the Babe Winkelman topwater bass show were the camera was never on the lure when a fish hit it? The camera was always on the people fishing when a "splashing sound" would happen and then you'd see someone reeling in a fish.

If given the chance, I'd take a walleye trip with James Holst on Pool 4 any day of the week, and I don't care which of the 52 weeks it is.

I got an opportunity to fish with Tommy Skarlis during the FLW Walleye Championship this fall and that was an experience I'll never forget.

All I can say is if any of you ever have an opportunity to fish with the guys you look up to, jump on it!! Its worth it!!

I remember seeing Babe in the float tube fighting the sturgeon. That was to funny. I wish I could find a video of that somewhere.

I would like to fish with Mike Iaconelli just because of how excited he gets for almost every fish he catches. And oh yeah, I have to agree with the the guys who mentioned Laura Schara. Gorgeous!!!!! Thanks Ron, well done.
