vister
I went musky fishing for the first time ever with my brother last weekend. He does pretty dang good and really gets into. The first night out, I hooked into my first ever musky. A 37 incher. Not huge, but definetly big enough for a first timer! We headed out the next morning at 5am, to try our luck again. There I hooked up with my second ever, a 47 incher! WHAT A RUSH!! It came in hot on my skirts, and just as I started my figure 8 with the first L-turn, WAM, she smoked it boatside, and completely flew out of the water!! How sweet is that! Now I see how you guys get into that! Definetely my personal best, probably always will be! Have I stumbled into a new hobby?? Probably! THANX BOD!! 37 incher in night pics 47 incher in day pics

Skidoo111
Caught my first two skeez last week all within a half hour of each other. First one was a small 30"er, then 30 minutes later a 44"er. Nothing was working under the water, so I went topside with a Pacemaker. Got my hand on the wrong side of the gill plate, and she shook while I was holding her and slit my hand in about 100 spots, bled like a stuck pig...... Fun evening, and now I am hooked! What was sorta funny about the second catch was that I was saying "Hey Mr. Musky, that pacemaker is irritating you isn't it, maybe you should come and hit it" Sort of taunting my way into a strike. About 5 seconds later, she came up about 3 feet from the lure, and hit like Jaws!

thrax
Fishing on Lake Vermilion has remained consistent, with nice fish biting on a regular basis. These fish came in the last week or so along with another 50.5 (no pic) and 5 other muskies from low to mid 40's. Also began catching a few better pike, with the best being a nice 39 incher. Posting for my brother who is not computer enabled. 50.25in, Kyle S 45in 46.5in 43.5in

Muskie456
Ya she dosen't look like a weed fish. There isn't a mark on her. I have noticed that over the years. Fish that I have caught out over space or on rocks seem to be cleaner.
