FL-8 in the boat. On the ice use the FL-18, FL-8, and the trusty 30 foot Stanley.

The economical Stanley-30' is widely overlooked. Never leave home without it! Never needs a charge, fits in your pocket, and doubles as a tape measure.

Had a F-8 and upgraded the year they came out with FL-18. Love my zoom feature and my rod bent everytime I see the bright lights!

Same here. I've had the Micronar for years, but upgraded to the Vex FL-18 a couple years ago. The old Micronar still works great! But I love my newer Fl-18 with the bright display & bottom zoom feature. Vern

LX-3 here, used a zercom clearwater classic for years, had a vex fl-8 on the bow of my skeeter. now I use the LX-3 year round, ice fishing and now is the unit on the bow of my boat.

Vex FL-8 Had it probably 10 years or so and love it. If the FL-8 ever dies I'm gonna get the FL-18, but I have a feeling I will be waiting forever for that to happen.
