1 Month!!

So, we are a month away from bass opener. Does everyone have their plans in place? If so, what are they?

No plans yet, actually have never bass fished MN since I am new to the area but getting pretty excited. I know that the next 4 weeks are going to drag!

Got a club tourny next weekend for WI opener, but for MN opener I will be on a little lake by my cabin no doubt. A month still seems so far away I'm starting to get a little impatient.

I'm really excited this season. I still don't have line on all my rods yet, but I cleaned them last night and got my Shimano spinning reel back from repair. So it's getting there.

I may be going to Aitkin for the bass opener, but he has to get approval from the wife first so who knows. Otherwise I'll follow champion198elite who's following Tonkabass:)

i have been fishing for bass for a month so... maybe i will follow around EBass who is following champ who is following tonka - or depending on how well i fish with champ on the 16th he will let me ride in his boat again and we will follow around tonka together.

I'll be in the Detroit lakes area. In laws family going golfing... I'm bringing the boat and might accidentally forget the clubs. I'm not sure what lakes I'll hit yet. I'm open to suggestions as I'm not too familiar with that area.

I'll be heading to some small pot hole lakes over in WI for their opener..It always seems I am on South Center for MN opener.

I'll be hitting one or more of the SW Metro lakes probably in Carver County area. Tough for alot of boats to get into those small ones and I just love the quietness and scenery out there. (not to mention they hold a few fish)

I have a little sleeper lake in WI that I am WAY excited to hit on WI opener!!

Odds are that on opener, I will be either on Tonka trying to stop Tonka from following me . Or I will be up in the Mille Lacs area, or on Green in Spicer.

Hopefully I will be chasing smallies up in Ely on the regular opener since bass season is open north and east of hwy 53. On the regular bass opener I will probably be around park rapids looking for more smallies.

I too will be on a small lake in Wisconsin. I guess you could call it a sleeper as I rarely see anyone fishing there. I'm curious as to the other sleeper lakes though: almost all the small lakes have some nice bass in them.

You might want to contact vman, sounds like they want to change the bass management in the Chetek change.

I'll be on a little canoe only lake. Weedy and sandy bottom, clear water, lots of baitfish, and big bass! I'm avoiding the crowds this year!

If the weather is not to bad I may hit some little lakes I fish in Wisconson for the Wisc opener then I will be on Vermillion chasing Bass on the 9th and for the metro opener I will be on Tonka.
