We really like Heggies in our home.

A couple of years ago I was at Menards and saw a pizza oven on sale.

Not what I went for but made the purchase.

That thing gets used all the time. No waiting for the oven to warm up and it really turns out a great frozen pizza.

Just had a Giovannini's frozen pizza. It was good, but the crust was nothing more than an unsalted saltine cracker. However the sauce was great, and cheese content was perfect.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I was on a 3hr flight home from NJ last night and had a lot of spare time. I started thinking about what to have for dinner and cruised this thread. Being bored, I counted the votes on all 8 pages of this thread. I didn't bother trying to weed out folks who voted more than once...but without further ado:

Heggies - 35 votes

Pizza Corner - 13 votes

Shirks - 10 votes

Tombstone - 7 votes

Kettle River - 5 votes

Giovannis - 4 votes

Schwans - 4 votes

Totinos - 4 votes

Jacks - 3 votes

Red Baron - 3 votes

Davanni's Deep Dish - 2 votes

Home Run - 2 votes

Wallmart take-n-bake - 2 votes

All of the following got one vote:

Bellatoria

Bernatello's

Carbone's

Connie's

Dave's

Digiorno's

Morrelli's

Portesi's

Randy's

Roma

Square One

Tony's

Twin Bay

Now go eat a pizza. It's good for you, the economy, and the U.S. of A.

Thanks for comprising the list. But where's Green Mill (2 votes I think). And you sure Jack's only got 3?

Ha! I would have to vote for whipping up a .25 cent Jiffy crust, rolling it out on the pan, and having the kids do the rest with some quality sauce, mushrooms, onions and sausage. They love doing it which means an easy Friday night meal for me!

If ever at Cosettas I always grab the sausage and peppers and sadly never have even tried their pizza, hard to find real Italian sausage in central minnesota "ya know" full-27018-7811-2011_04_07_23_10_35_50.j

So, anyway, after seeing this thread day after day i finally broke down. Yes, it is doctored up with cheese and some non salt spices and a small amount of work went into it.........but ultimately cheap, quick, and good ole made in the USA yummy pizza!

Basically all frozen pizzas are garbage these days. Our standards are low because no one makes them like they used to.

I've been eating these things for over 40 years, and I wonder when frozen pizzas were ever sold with better ingredients than they have now?
