Funny stuff! On a similar note, I found a tick on the back of my head. I told my girlfriend about it and noticed her starting to run the tips of her fingers through her scalp. Then she told me, "Go check the bed". Now really, how am I going to find ticks in a bed? I am sure the cats would have attracted any that strayed off me anyway.

I love snakes. I probably would have messed around with it and pretended I was Jeff Corwin. Garter snakes are cool, but that stinky defense mechanism is gross.

After wards it was pretty funny telling the boys at work but it still gives me goose bumps thinking about it.

Every one tells me that they are very elusive and you hardly ever see them.. well two that day and one today.. Anchored up in a huge log jam. Just behind me some kids come down to the river bank to fish.. A short time later I could hear a loud ruckes behind me. Looked over at the kids and saw them lifting large rocks and slamming them down on the ground over and over.. then one of them picks up a stick and flings another large Bully into the river. OF COURSE up stream from me.. now I sit in the boat wondering if they killed it or will it sink or float to my boat.. ?????????? Never saw it so that was good. SIGH..

Not sure what I am going to do for all summer and this fall Bow hunting and hiking that I like to do.. I am pretty freeked out by all this.. I grew up in Fort Sill Ok.. maybe that is why I hate them EVIL kritters.. Snakes, scopions, HUGE spiders... Man oh man.. I will have to wear hip waders and carry my Taser when ever I go outside.. LOL LOL... Maybe if I them first it would not be so bad but for crying out loud, they blend in pretty darn good.

WWG and I have been playing leapfrog all weekend. Kind of fun being in the same boat with either the guy you are chasing or the guy that is chasing you.

Ya, Dtro and Hanson, a hats off on a very nice look-in hat. I am very impressed.

Is it just me or are these hats one the most comfortable hats to wear. When you put it on your head, it just feel right.

I should have heeded your warning wiskers. Shore fishin the zumbro the other day i hooked into a nice smallie from on top a sand bank like yours in the picture so to land it i jumped and slip down the sand. Only i slid along with a 4-5 foot bull snake. He sat on the edge of the water ready to strike, and between me and my fish. Needless to say i had to pull that fish way up river to land it.

Heck yeah baby! Big thanks to Hanson for the guiding. Just made it back to Rochester, and it is 5:45. Still pumped from last night. Had to wait out a downpour at the ramp and take shelter later from some lightning, but ended the night with 4 fish, somewhere in the 160's for a total don't remember the exacts right now, but I am off for a cat nap now!
