DTro
He even went as far as saying Brett has told him nothing...So much for that report.
Jim Uran
If he does, the season will be interesting that's for sure. I might have to tweak Leechbait's Power Rankings a little but we'll still come out on top!!!!
ozzie
another boring day for ESPN.....lets put out that Farve is officailly retiring that will make things more interesting.....

Bear55
Lets see everyone was pretty sure he was coming back, so Brett being Brett announces his retirement yet again citing a bad ankle. Hmmmmm like others have said I can't buy this one until opening day or maybe if he doesn't show up for the last pre season game. There is still a very good chance his ankle "heals" and he SHOCKS THE WORLD by coming out of retirement yet again.
solbes
You had to expect this. How much media had he gotten this summer? Next to nothing. More than likely this fits with his game plan of returning. If he doesn't return, we're in a bit of trouble. Would have been nice to trade for a vet or at least draft for the future.

Farley
You must be a Bears/Packers/Lions fan. I'm a vikes fan. Just sick of the Farve hoopla.
zepman
This will be another case of "unprofessional" reporting done by a few "wanna-be's". You could almost see this coming with the little news coming out of Mankato and Vikings camp.
harvey lee
Lets see, Vikes say they know nothing, Farve says nothing and the press says yes.Something smells wrong.Looks doubtful.
bucketmouth64
Wonder if Spielman/Childress is looking at who else is out there for qb? What about Kurt Warner? Throw a few million at him. I think Chilly will be more comfortable going with TJack this year. Forget about getting rid of Sage now. I think we will go 10-6 now, maybe not win division but be a wildcard. jeffreyd
Dont think Kurt will come out of retirement. He is busy with his charity and huge family. It would not surprise me tho to see Farve show up in phoenix for a year.
Cooter
I think we will go 10-6 now, maybe not win division but be a wildcard. A Queens fans predicting something other than complete domination ending in a superbowl win? There may be some sanity left in the state afterall. Someone pass that guy a big, tall mug of purple elixir!
Big Tom
If true, I find it hilarious Chilly is the last to know. Lots of respect there.

cjac
497 & 69,329....his current TD passing and yardage counts. His ego alone will drive him to come back and set the bar for Peyton at 500+ career TD passes and over 70k yards. There's no way he finishes up short of such glamorous numbers like those. 13 million....that's another number with a bit of influence too! TR21HP
Cooter, You along with the rest of the packer backers are the ones crossing your fingers because if he does come back I'm afraid it's going to be another long season and even longer off season for the pack again. Bear55
Ya that 497 and 69,329 just doesn't have the same ring to it as 500+ and 70K+ do they?
