Lets see everyone was pretty sure he was coming back, so Brett being Brett announces his retirement yet again citing a bad ankle. Hmmmmm like others have said I can't buy this one until opening day or maybe if he doesn't show up for the last pre season game. There is still a very good chance his ankle "heals" and he SHOCKS THE WORLD shocked by coming out of retirement yet again.

You had to expect this. How much media had he gotten this summer? Next to nothing. More than likely this fits with his game plan of returning.

If he doesn't return, we're in a bit of trouble. Would have been nice to trade for a vet or at least draft for the future.

Wonder if Spielman/Childress is looking at who else is out there for qb? What about Kurt Warner? Throw a few million at him. I think Chilly will be more comfortable going with TJack this year. Forget about getting rid of Sage now. I think we will go 10-6 now, maybe not win division but be a wildcard.

497 & 69,329....his current TD passing and yardage counts.

His ego alone will drive him to come back and set the bar for Peyton at 500+ career TD passes and over 70k yards. There's no way he finishes up short of such glamorous numbers like those.

13 million....that's another number with a bit of influence too!

Cooter, You along with the rest of the packer backers are the ones crossing your fingers because if he does come back I'm afraid it's going to be another long season and even longer off season for the pack again.

Cooter isn't a packer backer, he doesn't even watch football. He's in to figure skating and interior decorating.... gringrin
