Vehicles starting to venture out on pretty much all lakes in the brainerd area and lots of bigger houses popping up on the hard water. I measured 12 inches on North Long, 11 inches on Lake Hubert, and 11 on Round.

Jeremy airjer W
I found favorable ice on a lake I fish frequently in the metro. 12" clear ice, a couple inches of frozen smuts, and a dusting of snow. There was some small vehicle traffic but I played it safe and hoofed it. Probably be driving out this weekend though.
