shnelson
6-8" on Green lake (Chisago County), southwest side today. Some of the ice seemed heavily stressed (cracks lit up like fiber optics from beneath the portable once the sun dropped).Saw a couple permanents get pulled out by 4 wheeler, they stayed within 100 yards of the shore for the most part. The chisago lake/lindstrom channel had up to 7" in some spots as well.

cheebz
Went out on big part of North Long yesterday. 8-9 inches of ice. It was a bit spooky on the wheeler, watching cracks shoot out 20-30 feet ahead but it seems to be solid, just stressing a bit still. Lots of permanent houses out already.
