Well im getting jealous looking at everyone elses boats. My dad and I finally got the boat out of storage tonight. Shes old but gets the job done very well. After sitting all winter it took two pulls to get her off and running. The motor is a 1958 Evinrude 7.5 horse with very very low hours on it.

Nice. You will have fun down here for sure. I am an Iowa State grad and same with Mother, father who has 4 Degrees from ISU and soon to be sister who is starting this fall also.

I will post some new pics of it soon along with my new truck to complete the rig.

Mr. Fish 1991 I'm impressed with the old rude, you don't see many motors that old looking that good. That old motor will probably be taking someone fishing after a lot of these new ones are in the bone yard, and some day when its done with that job I can see it hanging in a sports bar somewhere.

Thanks jeff. The motor runs like a top and will troll down to absolutly nothing. One thing that im not toofond of is that it is REALLY finnicky with the high speed fuel/air mix. I have to play with the adjustment nob for a while so i can get max power out of it.

Here is my well traveled 2004 Lund explorer. Its made a few trips to Washington State fishing the Columbia river, and of course many lakes big and small here in Minnesota. This year will likely be its last with me, its been a very good "first" boat.

It has a 50 horse Yamaha 4-stroke, pretty slow barely touches 30 mph...
