Finally, a topic I consider myself an expert in. Here's my list:

1. Heggies

2. Davanni's Deep Dish (can't believe nobody has mentioned it yet)

3. Home Run

I've also found Heggies at the SuperValu in St. Louis Park at the intersection of Louisiana & Cedar Lake Road. I've also found them at the Holiday gas station on 24th & Hennepin in Uptown.

The Davanni's Deep Dish is pricey - about $10, but it's excellent and can feed three adults. I can't say that about too many frozen pizzas.

I kinda like the Jack's frozen pizza. I take the pepperoni off, apply a layer of mazzerella, a small can of mushrooms and then slice up some Italian sausage that I soften up in the micowave and then put the pepperoni back on. Not too bad for pizza west of the Mississippi.

I like Jacks. But leave the Pepperoni on and add Saur Kraut to it!!

Never had a Hedges cry, but a fixed up Jack's (4 for $10 makes it taste better) isn't too bad. I'm a big fan of thin, I mean thin, crust and just yesterday bought a couple of new Green Mill thin crust (looks thin like a saltine) on a two for one deal. The picture on the box looks great...I'll let you know how they taste.

Finally got to try a Heggies but not sure what the fuss is about. Didn't think it was anything special. Better than Tombstone or Red Baron? Sure. But it ain't no Pizza Corner.

Tombstone Brick Oven, let it thaw, take of the meat, add more cheese, back goes the meat plus any extra toppings, put in a stoking 475-500 degree oven, use broiler to finish off if bottom is getting too crispy. now thats a pizza!
