I think the save thing is a joke.

I felt bad for Alexis, basically begging by singing.

She had the look after they said no like "well, if I don't feel used now".

I too said there's no way they're going to use the save already, they'll wait until the top 5 or 6 are left.

I personally think the save thing is a joke. If the judges don't like how America voted, then don't let them vote.

I agree the 'sing for a save' was like being slapped twice in a row...wasnt once enough? I felt bad for her also.

There shouldnt even be a 'save' at all. Let America decide.

I have to disagree Dietz. If you go by how they sang each week then Anoop should be gone and Scott is way overdue on the exit train. He is a marginal singer that hides behind his piano because of his handicap. Hard truth but if they are looking for the "American Idol" I just don't see it being him. He is getting way too much sympathy voting and Alexis comes along and stumbles once and she gets canned. I think it is a double edged bias here that the cute hot chick gets canned as soon as she falls but the dopey blind guy gets passed thru week after week even though HE CAN'T SING! I know this is all just "Idol Chatter" (pardon the pun) since none of the people we are talking about have an ice cube's chance in Hades of making the top spot.

Thats really what its all about in my opinion.. neither of them had a chance in the top 5 even... Scott is holding on, and if it were up to me, he would have been gone before the cut to the show.

Motown next week? SHould be a very good week for Lil', Matt, Danny.. But thats just my guess.

I'm fine with how it went. I thought the welder dude was worse though. Scott's time is limited. I think the save idea is OK but don't make the kids beg by singing. They won't use it until much later on if they ever do. I think it's there in case they have something happen like what happened to Daughtry.

They should have kept the eye candy......just because. Plus the judges know its that much harder to succeed in the music industry if you aren't considered "attractive".

Not that I would ever go see the Top 10 Idols Live tour anyway ........ but my wife and I were talking about this after Alexis got kicked off. The top 10 on tour will be 3 girls and 7 guys (1 of them blind so probably sitting at the piano most of the time). Not a show that I would ever want to see. Especially after the way the 11 of them butchered the Travis Tritt "Trouble" song ----- although maybe it's not their fault, it's a good song for Travis to sing by himself, not a good song for 11 people to sing in unison. When the 7 guys started that song standing around the piano I had to choke back a little vommit --- reminded me of the Osmonds

I thought about this a few times and have forgot to post it. Did anybody else notice that Megan dropped her last name. She started out as Megan Joy Corkery and this week was just Megan Joy. Anybody know why? Divorce maybe? I know she has a kid. What is the scoopage? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL

Who do I think should be gone, Scott, he is about 3 weeks overdue to be gone.

Who do I think will be gone, Megan, if America stays true to form in keeping the blind guy and the nice family guy and nails the cute hot chick with a kid then Megan will be gone just like Alexis and the dull, boring Scott and Michael will continue to slosh thru. I only wish Alexis and Megan were blind because then America would vote them thru! Just Kidding, venting a little here.

Adam has cemented himself as the one to beat since Lill seemed to wallow in her "roots". It kind of galled me to see them showing how she overcame "adversity". I mean, really? Come on guys, give the whole black thing a rest. She has pipes and this week should have been a belt high fastball that she cranked out of the park yet she sloshed thru a mediocre performance and may have legged out a double! She should get a wake up call and start using that voice God gave her and forget about the rest of the stuff if she wants a shot at Adam. The dude just knows how to mix it up and bring it week after week, I think we have seen about 4 different sides of him and I think there are many more to come.

I have to agree with all. Scott, megan, Michael as the bottom 3. Michael should be history. The rest did a really good job. It is shaping up to be a really good season....The top five IMO are Adam, Danny, Allison, Matt, Lil.
