Yeah I tried to find info on the Maverick and I could not past 2007... I guess just cause they aren't on the show anymore, doesn't mean they still aren't out fishing.

I wonder if Time Bandit and Wizard are maybe owned by the same person or company? During one of the marathons this spring/summer they showed some season 1 shows and there was mention that the Maverick and the Cornelia Marie were partners.

The Time Bandit and the Wizard are both independents. The Hilstrands own one, and Keith and his wife own the other. I think the Northwestern is also an independent boat.

The others, C-M for sure, as well as the Incentive, are corporate boats.

ITS ALL OVER THIS WEEK I hate to see it all come to an end but with all the drama this past season I bet this last show will be a real production.

Well....... Thats that. All in all I would say this was the best year yet to watch. Lots of drama (either created or real) and lots of stuff going on. Phil with boat problems, Keith with darn near killing off his crew and himself,Sig with a death of a family member of a Deck hand and his own chest pains (As well as quiting smoking for almost 3 hours) John and Andy having to Fire Russ. Lots of stuff went on over the year. I Enjoyed watching this year.

Now its another 9 months or so before we start all over. Discovery needs a few other shows like this one to keep us going during the off season.

Its been fun talking and seeing everyones views during the season. We'll have to do it again next year..

Good season. I see they have added ice loggers (whatever that is) and sword fishing. I don't know if anything will ever beat crabbing.

Was fun to watch. Brutal winds on last night's show. Can't believe that boat almost tipped over from a wave.

I thought Keith was being a little paranoid with "running" guys out and back. Until that bow buster came overboard. Wow, that would have caused some problems.

Looking forward to another season next year. With all the added drama, I have to wonder how many more seasons they will air?

Was very good, that's the worst I've seen the weather in the season's they've shown. Wasn't sure what Keith was doing fishing in that weather, but he did get his crab.

I'm gonna have to check out the sword fishing.

yeah it makes you wonder how long the same old thing can go on. I for one could watch just to see how the main guys are doing and what they are up to. Its almost like they are part of the family and I'm looking to see how there doing. I hope that this show is on for a few more seasons for sure.

I like to just watch them crab fish. Some of the drama is good, some is a little over the top. But the show is good as a whole and I'll keep watching it as long as they make it.

The sword fishing show intrigues me --- looks just like the movie The Perfect Storm. I already set my DVR (starts Tueday 8/11 I believe). I'm just hoping the Glouchester accent isn't too prevalent, that might make it a hard watch

I don't know. That show reeks to me of the Lobster version of deadliest catch. I tried to get into it and couldn't. I'll try the sword fishing show once though.

Did anyone watch the behind the scenes last night. It might have been a replay. Anyway I was surprised at how large of a filming crew there was. It was fun to see the new camera guys having troubles keeping lunch down in 20 ft foot seas. Those guys are risking just as much as the fisherman, but I'm guessing get paid quite a bit less!

The one cameraman was so sick on the CM that they thought he was not going to make it. Love that show. Swordfish one looks ok too but a copycat.

I find myself watching less main TV and more Discovery and Travel and Nat Geo TV, occasional twins game and that is it... OMG I am turning into my father! If I start going to dinner at 4:30 everyday somebody put me down! JK...

I am sure they will have Phil on during the King Crab and part of the Opie season...then have a episode dedicated to him... I am sure they wont show his stroke out of respect for his family.. Sad deal that he left us at such an early age... He is my fathers age and I couldn't imagine what Jake and Josh is going through for the last couple weeks!
