 yep I was told that by an old retired crabby grumpy butcher to that used to frequent websites to. Then when you didn't agree with him, he'd take his ball and go home.

Thats sad. The butcher I knew wasn't crabby when I first met him years ago. I wonder what made him that way? Oh well.

Grilling usually ends by mid November. Trying to grill a steak, chicken etc. on my deck at 8 deg. nearly impossible. Wife found a smokeless grilling machine called a foodi,  couple hundred dollars, that grills, bake, roast, air crisp and dehydrated. Yesterday grilled a couple Tenderloin, med well for wife, med for me. Brushed steaks with mixture of seasoning and Olive Oil, Plugged the small meat thermometer into wife's steak, started machine, meat temp 54 deg. At 74 deg temp added my steak. Perfect outstanding steak as was the roast 1/2 chicken and Air Crisp walleye. Dehydrated a fresh pineapple and going to do some jersey on Friday. No smoke in house and super easy cleaning.

Grilled pork steaks with asparagus and fresh from the garden spinach and lettuce salad!!!

Grilled chicky tenderloins and FF. Chicky was marinated in roasted red pepper Italian dressing.

 

Then dipped in buffalo wild wings parmesan and garlic sauce.

14 lbs of brisket. 10 people and this was all that was left. Charcoal with apple wood on top of the coals. It’s now been added to next years cabin menu.
