15,000

[Deitz Dittrich]

I have been trying to think of what to write for my 15,000 post on HSO/FM.. THought about trying to make a funny one about how I really dont have a life outside the forums... But then thought better of that... thought about how I even came to this many posts.. I registered on Oct 9th of 2002, and was asked to be staff shortly after that. Dont really know why, but its been a very fun ride...

I would like to thank Rick P and the admin(Frank, Paul W. Ect.. ). For starting such a great forum. I have made many a friend on these pages, ones I plan to keep for life. Far to many to list and I dont want to hurt any feelings by leaving someone out. But know, each person I have had the pleasure to put a name to a face on these forums has meant a lot to me.

A very special thanks to Ray Esbolt, Wayne Ek and Jason(Spearing Bass)and, Rob Kimm. You have helped keep this bass forum so fun. Within this thanks, I also thank all the people that have and still do frequent the bass forum here. I often glance at other bass forums on the net. And in my opinion, not one.. not one single one, comes any where near what we have here. The knowledge and things that are shared on this page far surpass anything I see on those other forums. I will not dive further into what I see else where, but Its not hard to see what we have here.

I have learned so much from reading the posts in the last 8 years, that I know I have become a better fisherman, and I hope to learn quite a bit more.

So, for post 15K I raise my glass to you all.. Thank you for the fun!

15,000 posts, makes you wonder how many secrets DD still has left. I think it's only appropriate at this time that we make a blooper collection of his posts.

Sounds like a lot of posts but they add up quick, as that's only 5.3 posts per day (I would know, I'm over 20,000 at a forum I've helped run since October 2003).

I knew Deitz in person before I knew him on here originally as "exude dude." That was a great screen name by the way! I always enjoy learning about other anglers thoughts on what is happening out there. 15K is alot of posts!

Thanks Dietz, for your posts. I have been able to to refine and expand my methods thanks to you. As a fairly new bass fisherman your thoughts have been priceless to my current success.
