ESPN radio and also Favres post game interview being played on ESPN now.

Makes you wonder if Chilly thought the game was in hand at 7-6 and the Vikes can just turn the switch "on" when ever they want to. This might explain the vanilla game plans recently and the lack of urgency this team plays with on occasion.

Favre said Chilly was concerned with the amount of hits he'd been taking. C'mon.....

I still can't believe they signed him for another 3 years

(Childress).. Absolutely brilliant. The guy cannot make

adjustments,has poor clock management,and doesn't use the

players he has, to the full extent of what they could be.

He has all the players a good coach would ever need to be

successful, yet here we are looking the fools on prime

time!!! Hey Zigman get a clue fella, this guy is not

gonna get you a new stadium or a super bowl!!!!!!!

I'm thinking he was worried about digging Favre out of 8" of turf after Peppers kept burying him.

I'm actually surprised he wasn't injured last night.

It would've been a win/win becasue we could have protected Brett while T-Jack won the game for us laugh

That maybe why Favre didn't want to come out of the game?

Favre is lucky he survived the way Peppers was toying with McKiddie and Loadhole. They absolutely stunk up the joint last night. WHY CAN'T WE RUN THE DARN BALL ANYMORE???!!?!?!?!!! We obviously can't play worth a lick on turf and we don't travel worth a darn in general. Favre and Chilidip were having some heated talks on the sidelines, I saw that. All in all another pathetic effort!!!

Folks, relax, these are the vikings. Look at the history as it tells the same story every year. confused Our O line is terrible at run blocking this year, do we miss Birk that much?? This year our record is accomplished with smoke & mirrors. We beat exactly 2 teams with winning records, GBay & the bengals, and I hope we don't see Gbay again. I would rather lose in the playoffs to anybody but the dang pack!!

I kind of wish ol Favre would have "let" Childress pull him. At least TJack had a chance of running away from Peppers and the rest of the pass rush.

As it turned out, making the change certainly wouldn't have made our offense look any worse.

Last I looked, we have two tight ends that would have slowed pepper-boy down. How about roll outs, shotgun, snaps to the

back. ANYTHING to keep the defense guessing?? Nope..

nothing. Maybe a plan B. How bout TJ and Farve back there

at the same time , like Pittsburg did with Tomzac and

Stewart. Nope..Nothing.

SAME OLD SUFF............. Nice adjustments Chili-man.

The coaches are the ones running the show. I blame them

for the whole mess. I never see any emotion on the sidelines

either. How bout lighting a fire under them for a change.

Ooops, that would be a coaches job and all we have is

a second rate cordinator...nuff said.

I have the game DVR'd if anybody cares to watch it again. cool I'm on my 3rd time. I love watching defenses totally crush a high-powered offense (like the Giants did to Brady in the SB)

BTW, for those bashing the play calling...I agree it was not great but doesn't the center call protections and doesn't the QB have the liberty of changing the play. Granted you have to have the right personnel in. A couple of times I saw Pepper's school even a double team.

I would take the immobility, arm and brain of Favre over TJack anyday

They should have double teamed Peppers and Steve Smith all night. Both of them killed us!

I thought it was kind of funny when Peppers would "bull rush" McKinnie. How the heck do you get bull rushed when you're 380 lbs?

Recent struggles all come down to our inability to run the ball. The run sets up Favre and the passing game so much. When they're constantly in 3rd and 8 or 9 and the defense is dropping 6 dbs it gets tough to throw.

IF Chili wanted to pull Favre- and it sounds like he did because he was getting hit too many times- that is one more thing the coaches did wrong last night.

I blame the entire loss on the coaches. We were completely out coached. Why can't we make adjustments at all or anymore? It seemed like we made them early in the year.

When coaches make a game plan they try to do what? Stop the opposing teams best player!! Don't let their best player beat you. Well, we let them.

On their D- Peppers. WOW. He is top 5...SO GET THE TACKLES SOME HELP. Did we ever double team him? Chip him with a RB? TE to his side? Very little. McKinnie is looking for his big payday after that game, I bet....

On their O- Smith. HE IS THEIR ONLY RECEIVER!!!!!!!!! Double or triple team him, if necessary. We let him go 1-1 and Winfield was destroyed! Get some help there! They have no one else!! Single everyone else! That and they had heavy protect schemes a lot to keep Allen off of Moore. They adjusted after the early part of the game. We should have done the same to Peppers.

That game is frusterating because the coaches sucked it up. The reason we lose this year is because of the coaches. We have the talent and can beat any team in the NFL---but will we? I'm starting to think the guys leading it will keep us from the ultimate prize....

Where are those people now who thought it was ok to give Child his multimillion $ contract and extension. Lets hear those excuses.

Well I think its safe to say Frasier will be here another year.

Where is that cliche at the one that says "Its the nfl even the best teams have an off weak".

Game day is the same ole thing. Short passes,a hand off to

Adrian. We never middle blitz, Jared Allen is predictable

as night and day. Oposing teams only have a couple hours of view our film reels = it's the same ole stuff. It might beat an average team, but not a team that makes adjustments and has

better than average coaching. They watch film longer than that in high school!!!!@!

What the heck do they see in this coaching staff?????????/
