0 CJH
I plan on pheasant hunting as well. No discount will ever be good enough to deal with the amount of craziness that goes on at those things. My brother in law went to Walmart at 3AM last year to get a good deal on a Plasma when they went on sale at 5AM, and when he got there they were all already claimed!!! That was worth getting up at 3AM for!!! NOT!
0 McGurk
I bought my dad a Garmin Legend color GPS a couple of years ago at 5 AM at "Richard's" sporting goods. It had maps, a car charger, and case for 100 less than I have ever seen them since. Also, last year my wife wanted a wii fit and I did a Sunday morning 6am run to CC to get one, I was #6 of the 7 available. Made my wife's day. 0 DTro
Not sure if anyone noticed, but a lot of stores have been slowly rolling out the deals little by little. Everyone is trying push the envelope sooner and sooner. You can waltz into any Walmart and find a great deal on a 50” LCD. I shed a tear every time I see the prices of these things and to think about what I paid a few years ago. As far as Black Friday shopping, I’d rather have my head dipped in some hot boiling asphalt. Sports just is not same game once you get used to watching it in HD.Did the black friday ONCE- NEVER AGAIN !
0 Big Dave2
I wouldn't be caught dead shopping on that day. Besides Iron Bowl is on TV that day, Alabama - Auburn!ROLL TIDE!
0 JimBuck
I'll be doing most of my shopping from the comfort's of my living room couch. I've done the Black Friday thing once a few years back and will never do it again. It was the first time I've seen a guy flatout throw an elbow to the chin of some poor lady during the initial store opening rush. I don't think he meant it as they were all in the crowd, but he sure as hell didn't apologize or lose a step getting that $50 off a Wii. Black Friday brings out the worst in people. I have sympathy for anyone working customer service on that day....what a flippin' nightmare. Happy deal hunting!

0 Nick Kuhn
It doesn't sound like a great deal now but 3 years ago my brother picked up a laptop for $250 and I got a 22" monitor for $200. This is back when the cheapest you could find those things was at least $400.Camping out isn't so bad if it's seasonable.

0 papabear
Kenmore HE3 COMBO for $1000. 3AM 3rd in line with wife and everyone else wanted the cheaper w/d they had on sale. Came tot he conclusion long ago that shopping is a females hunting/fishing. They scout out the deals, develop a plan, get up at an ungodly hour, then they have a reciept to prove it when bragging to friends what great deals they got. Heck they even have their own boards on line to discuss it. AND they share their bounty with us when they get deals at belas, GM and victorias secret. 0 Sutty
I was at sears. I was like 20-30th in line and still could have bought one of those washer drier's I was after the HE dishwasher that was 40 % off and the 1/2 off microwave. Saved like 500 clams. 0 Fishin Dood
I am unfortunate enough to work retail. I had to be at work at 10am on BF and it was absolute insanity. Apparently there was a line across the parking lot at 5 am. We opened at 6 and by 6:45 there was a line about 80 yards long to get through the registers. 16 registers running wide open... There is no deal worth that kind of trauma. The fiance is in charge of shopping. I'll put venison on the table
