I have a 2001 Lund Mr Pike.

I was struck dumb with love the first time I saw her. In Mario Puzo's book the "Godfather", Micheal Corleone was struck with the "thunderbolt" when he first saw Apollonia. Thus, I named my Lund The Thunderboat.

I try to forget that Apollonia was blown up by a car bomb.

The name of my boat is JADEE 3. It was my wifes uncle's boat before he passed away from cancer. Each letter is the name of his kids and his late wife and it was the 3rd boat that he had owned. Its an 06 Crestliner and he would let me use it whenever I wanted in exchange for helping him out around the house. When he passed away a little over a year ago, his kids asked me if I would be interested in buying the boat, which I of course did.

I really miss that old guy and therefore I will never change or remove the name as long as I own the boat. The name is a little odd, so people often ask me about it, which gives me the opportunity to tell them about old Uncle John.

Ole Number Two. Bought it from a buddy. He said it always started on the 2nd pull. Changed the plugs. It now starts (usually) on the first pull but the name stuck.

I go by Ballz Draggin'.....obviously I am talking about my downriggers and such.

The kicker was when I called in a capsized sailboat to the coastguard. They actually had to have me spell it out for them while I heard cackling in the background, or the time I placed in the Jawz Derby and they wouldn't say my boat name, asked me to come up and say it.
