51 inch 52lb 8oz Biggest fish i have ever caught. Pool 2 on a crankbait fishing walleye's

Yeah it took about 15 minutes to get it in. Ended up over a quarter of a mile away from where I hooked into it when we finally netted it.

Nice flat and congrats on the PB fish! Next time you hook a pig like that grab 'er in the ol bucket mouth instead of the gillplate --- they won't bite! Did you hapen to get a girth measurement on that pot belly?

I hate to be the guy that says it doesn't look anything like a 50lber, and I could be wrong just my opinion. However nice catch and still a great fish.

My god there always has to be someone. That fish was 51 inches long and weighed 52 lbs 8oz. You know what they say about opinions, maybe next time keep yours to yourself.

Nice fish, Oly. Lots of guys go a LONG time and a LOT of hours fishing for those hogs without hitting the magic 50+. You did it on a crankbait...maybe I need to start using that tactic!

Typically a 51 incher would be upwards of 60+ lbs. I think that fish must have spawned out already.

54lbs 13oz weighed with 100# digital scale. Measured 48" long by 32.5" girth. Finally got one for the Redwood League. First one in the 50+. Caught around 9pm lastnight on a bullhead. New personal best by over 7lbs.

I guess I'm glad there is a saying "everyone is in titled to there own opinion" and I call them as I see them. I'm not taking anything away from you catch man, its a great fish none the less. Just saying in the pic it doesn't look that size, but its a pic and they are deceiving.

Same fish is my avatar now. Looks are deceiving in that pic. The stomach was plump and the tail was thick as ever. I will post a sideview and one of it laying on the ground and there should be no doubts its legit.
