Been awhile since I've contributed to the bass forum....figured it's about time to post a few pics!....I found some action this morning from my canoe on local lake near Hibbing (Sixmile Lake)...always been a great little large mouth producer....got these guys on a black hula-popper..gotta love those old surface lures!... and a pic of a "bronze back" from my trip earlier this week from the Voyageurs...(caught this small mouth on the black hula-popper also)....

Haven't used a hula popper for years but it was always one of my favorites. Nothing beats catching bass on a surface lure.

Been chasing walleyes all spring. Finally got out to chase some smallies and stuck a nicer one on a DT10. Forgot camera so it's a crummy cell pic...

Brought a friend out fishing who hasn't fished since he was a young kid. Showed him how to use a spinning reel and after ten minutes he gets his first ever bass. Here is a pic

Then I got this nice fish. We had the most luck working the shallows with a spinnerbait. Bites were few and far between in the deeper weeds.

my new personel best i caught saturday during a club tourny it was just shy of 22 inches and wieghed 7.17 on the club scale sadly it was hooked through the gills and she wouldnt swim away so shes going on the wall.

Beautiful fish! Good to hear she's going on the wall, woulda been a waste trying to get it back in the water.

thats what we figured we tried for about 5 mins trying to get her to swim right but she was basically just floating around on her side so now its a great memorial of one of the most miserable days on the water weather wise haha.

itwas ablast caught a ton of nicefish between the me and my partner we hadjust over 38 lbsat the weigh in for 10 fish. but the pouring rain wind and cold made it tough to stayout there before we found the fish

i had 3 others on but too big to get in the boat without a net. This one i think was 44-45 and i had one on that would have put this to shame.

yeah they do....we probably saw over 20 of them in the shallows one day and most of them were beat up like this one.
