panfried
Hello Everyone. It's been a few years since I have even posted anything on this site but I have been viewing plenty. I am one of the guys who has been living vicariously through the rest of you and cannot thank you enough for all the cool pics. While I love seeing all the pigs I really enjoy some of the great photography. Anyways, while I haven't made it out much in the past 3 years or so, my kids are now old enough and patient enough to tag along with me so I can assure you I will be out on the ice and the open water much more in the coming years. That being said, here are a few pics from my most recent outing. Fishing was rather slow and primarily consisted of a 45 minute window prior to dark and that was it. However, on both evenings that 45 minute window was all that was needed to have an awesome time battling some Bull gills. All in all I caught 30-40 gills between both evenings and the vast majority of them were 9"-10" with the smallest coming in at 8". I kept 9 fish in the 8"-8.5" range and let all fish greater than 9" go. Hope you enjoy the pics and I hope to be posting more on here soon. Best of luck to everyone and keep the pics coming. Scott M
Welcome back panfried! Thanks for sharing, those are some great shots, love the release pics. I can sympathize on the kiddo front - they take time but you build up future fishing partners.

panfried
Thanks guys. Nice to be back. Yes, the Sunnies in this lake are really nice looking fish. In years past they would be pretty heavily covered in parasites but it seems less prevalent this year. I have never caught as many in the 9-10 range either so things are really looking up. Hopefully I'll be posting pics of a real good one at some point this season.Best of luck.
