bmc
Here's a pic of my PB slimer. I caught it today on Deer Lake by Deer River, MN while we were trolling for muskies. 37.50" w/ a fat gut.......I'm guessing close to 15 lbs. She hit a metallic green colored Grandma crankbait in 20' of water. CPR'd. Lots of tulibees/whitefish hanging on the drop off, getting ready to make their evening spawning run. Water temps around 48 degrees. No muskies though. Brian
DTro
MN River is stupid full of Pike this year. It's crazy. A few nice ones every trip. It's rare to even get a couple each year. Heck we got 4 again tonight. I decided to keep a couple the other night and try pickling em for the first time!

mainbutter
I was actually fishing a pure white proto-type because water visibility was less than a foot. I pour my own swimbaits, and have found that pure white is may GO TO COLOR regardless of clarity. I will use other colors, but for swimbaits I have found white to consistently produce while other colors can be hit or miss. You should tell the manufacturers of that to market a pure white variant as well great fish, great looking lure!
