I was in St. Paul last week and these ducks stopped by for a visit by our place down there.

You in maintenance over there now?  My buddy worked there for years in maintenance "retired last year" was able to get close to them like this.

Naw, I was just driving by and saw them grouped up.  I was actually on a hunt for breakfast.  There isn’t much open at 5am so I took some time to check them out.

I don't either, though they are kind of pretty, just not when I find them in the house.

Helping vaccinate some cattle last week and there were a ton of butterflies sipping schitt off the headgate.  Didn't know they liked that stuff so much.

Bumblebees nesting in the old wren house by the garden. That thing is a little buzz box when out weeding in the evening.

Habitat works, he found a bonus rooster pheasant in my back yard last night hiding in my rows of dogwoods right outside my back door. When he locked up on point I figured it was some tweetty bird and it ended up being a rooster lol

Heard a noise last Wednesday night around 9 and looked out the window and saw a bear cub. Walked out the door and ran into Momma and 2 or 3 more  cubs. Had a hard time getting a good pic because Momma wasn't to happy with my presence.

 

She decided to stand up right when I took this one.

 

This one is also out of focus. I was about 15 yards away from her and I wasn't quite sure what she was going to do.
