Thursday night football

A game to watch tonight, Lions going up again the Packers at Detroit.. Don't have to tell you what a Packer loss would mean. I am pulling for the Lions, I think they are a dangerous team right now and I am glad the Vikes are done with them...

What a finish! Packers pull  it out with time expired with a hail mary, Rogers to Rogers... Next Thursday the Vikes play, to bad most of us will not be able to watch it.

That face mask call was total dump! Rogers should get an eme for the head snap act!

+2

Just another example of Green Bay luck.

Could the Detroit secondary play that hail Mary any worse?

Tonight was a great example of a comment I have heard before, Vikings fans cheer just as hard against the Packers as they do for the Vikings!  I was quite evident to night at our local hockey game.

Yes the facemask was a terrible call, yes the lions defense blew by now keeping Rodgers in the pocket and letting Rodgers make a pretty easy catch. but you have to admit that was a heck of a throw. 70 plus yards....

That loudmouth Paul Allen should listen to how the Packer's announcers called that winning hail mary play.  Very professional without all the bellering and carrying on (he does this when the Vikings just get a run of the mill 1st down for cripe sake).  He's such a hack.

a still frame of the facemask is no good without what happen before it. I have seen stills of the thumb on the grill work.. As A Viking fan we wanted the flag picked up but.... terrible D on the Lions part, three linemen rushing Rodgers when you know what he can do outside of the pocket and all defenders behind the receiver's no one fronting them... The recovered fumble for a TD didn't help Detroit any either. Was still a real good night to watch on Thirsty Thursday

Perfect Storm

Tonight's game is looking to be a Perfect Storm for the Minnesota Vikings. Several key players are out on the defensive side of the ball and the team is coming off a short week and has to travel to Arizona. The only good thing I can say here is that the game is not on TV so we will be spared the sight of Teddy running for his life while Peterson complains he didn’t get enough rushes for no gain. Actually there a good point that having a Thursday game means they will have a long week to get ready for the next game and hopeful get healthy. Of course like any car accident I will be listening on the radio and keeping track of my fantasy players, several who are in the game but not on Minnesota's team. I think this is one of those games we are suppose to lose.

Local radio is not broadcasting the game, but you can hear it over the internet on the Arizona cardinals football radio. Vikes score answering the Cards opening drive, 7-3 Vikes with 4 minutes left in the first !

cards score on a 65 yard pass, Palmer to Brown 10-7 Cards

Give  Vikes credit they are in this game as at the half it is all tied at ten each. maybe just maybe..... Vikes are using their TE's sending them downfield for some big gains. Only one turnover that killed a Vikes drive... 2nd half coming up.
