Lower left has been gone for awhile. You need to see the ads on the right side of the page. If they are eliminated, they need to be restored I think. Do you see the New Topics on the right side? Search will be between them and log in/out.

Seriously, it is in the "red area", but will NOT highlight when I arrow over it!! Nor, is the one in the lower left column by the topics there anymore....

I am using firefox and there is a box in the upper right. Looks like I could type in it and have a search.

You also need to make sure you are logged in to see it. When I was logged out I saw "search" in the red box on the top of the page but couldn't click on it. Once I logged in the search box appeared on the top right under the log in/out area.

Just one of the MANY quirks of the site.

For me, all search capability has been gone since the site split. Still not there today, I am logged in and using Explorer. Does not seem to be something that has been addressed yet.

Do you have the right column turned on in your preferences under My Stuff?

I tried Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome and logged into HSO and Outdoors Minnesota and the search function was there. I then tried without logging in and the only time it did not show up was on HSO with Internet Explorer. That might have been due to the version I am using which is IE 8 due to IE 11 kept crashing.
