id rather see delmon playing than Gomez

I agree with you there. I think Gomez should be in AAA, leading off every game and working on his hitting. It won't happen because they have to show something from the Santana deal in my opinion. I don't have an issue with a LF-Young CF-Span RF-Cuddy everyday outfield lineup. It is quite a bit below the current Span, Gomez, Cuddy as far as defense goes, but an improvement on offense. I guess I just don't see why you guys hate Cuddy so much....

And I would rather see Delmon get a shot, rather then a ballwashing suck-up like Cruddy.

Young is nowhere near the player Cuddyer is. Period. Would I rather see Young than Gomez? Sometimes, but Gomez is starting to hit, and he is very good defensively. I don't ever see Young hittig more than 20 HRs in a year, but I don't think Gomez could do that in his career.

gomez brings life and energy to the team even in down situations. Like fishin58 said bert and Richard commented on how he got the crowd stirring with his energetic play. the kid plays the game with all his emotion and you can tell he enjoys every minute of it. He has stellar defense, his hitting will come with time. I see him being a fan favorite in Minnesota for years to come.

HMMMMMM I believe I have some stat predictions and some views at the begining of the season on Cuddy. A lot of people that were saying that he is not worth it, should get their plates ready for some crow, and I am glad they are NOT coaching baseball at any level.

I love it when he has a game like yesterday, people around here are awfully quiet, but if he goes 0-4, they are on here strutting like a peacock. I would be willing to bet Cuddyer would be a starter on well over 3/4ths of the teams in the league (if not all), so whats the beef?

How did those SOLO homeruns turn out for us??? I still believe in a loss, but if Cruddles performs in a pressure situation how many more wins would this team have, well at least he bumped his RISP to .231........keep pumping his empty stats.

I'll give him his due credit. It was a great game for him and what's even more encouraging is the he got not only one, but two hits in the late innings of the game when the team needed them. Unfortunately, those batting in front of him couldn't get on so his hits would have been even better but that's baseball.

I just did a check of that site I posted earlier showing stats in the late innings. He's up to .200 and this was his first homer of the year in those late inning pressure at bats but the team is going to need big games from players going forward if they hope to get back in this so here's to hoping this is the start of some clutch hitting from him and that it will be contagious to teammates.

So its Cuddys fault there was no one on base. I hate when that happens.

Exactly. SOLO HRs suck. Hate when that happens, Mauer and Morneau in the 9th get out in front of you and the other one was an inning lead off HR. Ghost runners don't carryover in the Majors I guess.

I would like to see a winning streak like June of 91.

That is what I was telling my buddy the other day, does it really matter if we have played sub-par ball all year. The central is going to be taken by the team that gets hot late. And I think that will be us!! So in the end I will have to be rooting for cuddles wink

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
