Bass, Largemouth 8-15 23.5" - from the DNR HSOforum http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/fishing/staterecords.html

You just caught the state record! That's a huge bass and congrats, but not over 25", or 24" or 23", or maybe even 22"

If you're going to claim said fish is X inches then you need a pic of said fish on a ruler with mouth closed and tail pinched. Not trying to bash you although it's coming off that way, just want the visual proof. Bass on my avatar is 21.25" as you can see it cleary when saved locally.

Again nice bass and congrats, just need a better pic on a ruler with proper measurements.

Bad lighting and not holding the fish out strikes again!

Deitz should switch his deep water structure talk to "How to hold a fish when taking a picture". So many large fish being shorted by bad angles and lighting.

My son's first time experiencing a good day on the water with me where he actually help catch them. I still think I enjoyed it more than he did.

As you can see I still need to work on the self timer taking pictures.

For those of you that don't look in the Canoe/Kayak and Video sections (most of you I would assume), I will post this here as well. Got out last week in my kayak to a new lake and got some nicer bass on a topwater frog. Take a look if you want!
