They will have to have them all sit around, probably slip them some extra cash, I think both Johnathon and Keith love the camera time, well all of them really.

Hard to imagine life on the Cornelia, all the family feuding but knowing the passing of Phil.

Time bandit dudes are hilarious running the greenhorn around with tin foil to tune the radar. Classic

Kinda creepy when Phil was talking about how he won't be around much longer, telling his sons they need to step up sometime. "It's a fact, I smoke like a chimney and have done almost every drug known to man." Pretty cool to see how Phil fishes the rock pile. The Northwestern crew looks ragged and beat down.

the northwestern guys i think are pushed harder and fish longer then almost any other boat, sig will fish them till they snap

They also get a bigger piece of the pie because they have fewer hands per catch. If you're gonna go through all the pain anyway, what's a little more if your paycheck is bigger? The Wiz brings in huge crab, but has a proportionally larger crew so less payout.

Was kind of eerie watching Phil prophesy his own future. Guess he figured the damage had been done and a change in habits was too late. He is a captain's kind of captain, so it will be tough to watch in the next episode or two.

It was eerie seeing Phil's quote.... It may have been the wonders of TV, but I think he had the same clothes on as most of the episode, so it couldn't be that old.... It won't be the same without him and I find myself being less enthused with the show already, knowing he won't be around...

Still a good show..., but it is beginning to run its course in my opinion

I haven't had enough yet. I still get irritated if I can't be home to watch and it doesn't get recorded.

Yeah, I know, set the dvr to record all the episodes.... easier said than done with teenage girls in the house wanting to record all their junk too. Sometimes it gets bumped. Then people get grounded. madgringrinwink

Can't believe I missed the start again. This time it was 1/2 hour. Wonder what I missed? The last half hour was pretty good.

Anyway it kind of made sense to see that Jake was hooked on drugs. Something wasn't quite right with him. Probably a good thing his old man caught him, although I'm sure it wasn't easy. That would have eaten him alive after Phil's passing. Hope he gets help.

The other Jake's situation doesn't sound good either. He hasn't had very good luck with family lately. I feel for him too.

I agree, the last two season he has family issues both years. Hopefully is dad is still alive but it doesn't sound to good right now.

From what i have read online Jake on the CM was a big time party animal in the off season, no suppress to me that he had this drug addition... I think the bad new about Phil will be coming up real soon. It kind of hard watching him not be able to breath when you know what's going to happen.

Interesting watching the Hillstrands formulating their plan for new blood in the wheelhouse. I've always liked Mike, so if that works out then good.

I was glad to see Phil and his sons had some good times looking at pictures right before his stroke. Still tough to watch it knowing the outcome, but he leaves a lot of good memories. I'm sure it'll be big news for the fleet on the next episode.
