Not my fish but a buddy sent the pictures to my email that seems to be circulating. That's one big Pike. After doing some research its not from the U.S. Its a European Pike that weighed in at a claimed 55lbs, 53.9inches(137cm)

Nevertheless I thought I was an impressive sight...

I agree it looks bigger than 54". The girth on that thing is out of this world....from tail to head that fish is THICK.

Nice one fisky this is no means a monster but joey got it on 4lb test and a pink flu flu This fish had a monster head and a small body and the other side was tore up from a bigger pike

When I opened this window and saw that pike all I could say was "Oh man that's a biiig head!"

Most of my pike this season have come on the light tackle (4lb fireline with a 6lb vanish leader), what a blast.

Here's one from Canada that my brother caught:

...It's only 31"...but look at the bite marks across its back. That's about 5 1/4" wide. I want a piece of that big girl....
