bronzeback
Finally saw one yesterday! riverkid21 and I went out with my cousin who is from Nebraska and has never seen a muskie up close and personal before. This fish bit boatside on the first turn of his 8 and my cousin was able to watch the follow and the hit from about 3 feet away. He loved it. The fish is about 36" this quick picture I snapped made it look closer to 40+ though, haha. gotta love the way cameras can do that
tom_w
Finally got myself a nice musky. Metro tiger. In the past I caught plenty of fish under 5 lbs, nothing like this. Nice to break through.

DeBo101
Well here is some photo proof of the crazy start to my season. Second spot of the year I get a fish on the hellhound. Decent weight no headshakes slowly heading towards the boat. Makes few runs see that its a big one and when its by my feet I see the lure stuck to its snout and the pike T-boned in its mouth. The fish let go of the pike long before I netted it but as near as I can tell it was hooked from the beginning. Tail hook a 1lb pike and on the front hook 48 1/4 inches of musky. Getting ancy to get back out there. My iffy net job got the right fish in the net but you can see the pike just outside the hoop in the one photo. Poor little pike was flopping all over the place when that big girl was headshaking by the boat.
