Look closely, there is no way it is stuck through the gills of the other fish. you can actually see the tip of the second jaw starting to form off the main one also. It also looks like the body is rotated 180 degress from the head.

I have seen pigs born like this before, but they usually died within a week or so. I did not see this the first time it was on here.

Yup, the smaller one is under the gill of the larger fish. If you look at the stringer it is probably put through the lower jaw of the smaller fish. Then the bigger fish was just slid on the stringer through the gills. As you lift them up the smaller fish slides under the gill.

I don't think the eyes are growing together either. I think it just looks funny because the gill is pushed out so far.

Yeah this picture was on here last summer and everyone had there opinion on whether it was 2 fish or one.

I believe its 2 fish, the smaller one is turned sideways and slid under the gill of the larger one, just enough to make it look as though it was 1 fish, Plus if it were 1 fish the little one being sideways would more than likely die anyway from being weaker and throwing off the swimming pattern.

WHoa!!!!!!!!!!! I've never seen anything like it!!!! It is definetly one fish. There is no F***ing way that is tow different fish. A good artist could have put the fish together, but i doubt it. U can clearly see the two eyes and the mouth that is growing as one. Any body else got similar pics? Also people can be simesse, why cant fish????

Nope...this thing was pounded to death last season. Rope stringers ring is attached to the smaller fish, bigger fish was slipped onto stringer, little fish slid into the bigger ones gills.

The stringer goes into the big ones mouth, but it does'nt come out anywhere, because it is hooked to the smaller fish.

I'd bet that just about anyone that has ever used a rope stringer has had this happen...we just did'nt get any pics.

If this is real, the Northern on the left is really messed up. Looks to me like its head/eyes are not on top of the body where the dorsal fin would be but is actually upside down on the belly where the lateral fins are. Gotta think this is a made up picture.
