Ok everyone this site has been busy as heck all day long. Why aren't YOU fishing, we finally got some ice with this cold weather

Personally my truck broke down so I even changed my signature while it's gettin fixed.

Slow day at work and my mind is on this weekend.

I have a lot of free time during the day, but need to be in the office to be available. X-mas week is always slow, but if I didn't have to be in the office, I would be fishing.

Sunday is MY day. Holidays, two little ones, and a 6-month GSP all keep me pretty busy. January will be better.

I had to leave my "honey hole" by Fergus Falls to come back up to Crookston over my break for court. The guy I worked for decided he didnt have to pay me for some reason

Cold weather and aircraft don't go together. Lots of broken iron in the hangar today, and on top of that, I get to babysit a film crew tonight. Might as well hang out here while I wait.

I had to work but we had our Christmas party today so all I really did was read the paper, work the crossword, check this web site and wait to be fed. Then I went home expecting to head out on the ice but the wife and daughter had other plans for me so...Tommorrow.

I've been out a few times so far, but today, I had to finish up Christmas shopping, wrap a bunch of gifts, visit my elderly Mom, take my wife Christmas shopping, try to locate some parts for my plow and work on it, and coordinate our Christmas Eve itinerary between Richfield, Mpls., Brooklyn Center and Albertville! Got er done!

I thought seriously about going out for awhile this evening, but I called my fishing bud and he was already on his way out to Buffalo with a couple other dudes.

Best I can do is get a fishing report later on and fish vicariously through the posts on the FM site...at least for today! Might go bust a few sunnies tommarrow morning, I'll let you know if I do.

My wife was able to come home from the hospital, her surgery took it's toll on her. Sure is good to have her home even if I have to do chores!!

Fished from 2:30 to 6:30 tonight. First time out. Did not have a bite, but marked a couple on the FL-18. Was great to get out for a few hours!

My only excuse for coming home everyday from fishing is it gets dark . I am laid off for the winter and fish just about everyday of the season. Sure is rough,lol.

After all, I am a man, which means Christmas shopping doesn't start til 12/20!

Well, my obsessive compulsive nature was shining today as I finished(well almost) categorizing, organizing, and prepping all my winter ice gear(and yes, I've been doing it for about 1 month now. I kept buying more stuff 'cause there wasn't any ice to fish on ).

I'll be going out this afternoon.

I could get everything done before everyone in my family shows up at my house saturday, but the little woman does'nt think so!

Oh well, I have all next week off and the walleyes and crappies will have sore lips for sure!

I'm at work today but check in when I can. I have next Wed. to Sun. to fish all day. My wife and little girl are out of town all next week, I may live on some lakes for 4 or 5 days next week!!
