.... can you imagine being a Browns fan right about now?

Traded away Richardson yesterday. Starting some new QB...

I almost feel worse for them. LOLLLLLL

Not sure Vikings Fan should really be laughing. At least the Browns figured out they can't build a franchise around a RB in this NFL.

*cough*PEDerson*cough*

I don't disagree with the idea of trading Richardson on a team like the Browns. He isn't going to help them win games as they are so bad in all other areas.

The thing I disagree with is the value they got for him. He's the 3rd overall pick with a ton of upside. On a team like the Colts he could turn into a beast. Essentially the browns traded a 3rd overall pick for what will likely be a late first round pick. In my mind you have to get a lot more for Richardson than a late first round pick.

As for the Vikings following the same strategy I don't see it. The vikings are much closer to contending than the Browns. The vikings are in theory 1 QB away from being a serious contender, the Browns need everything. If they were to trade AP (probably the only game changing RB in the NFL) I'd be looking for much more than a single late first round pick.

There's little room to run usually, these guys are so fast etc. What AP did last year was incredible really. I have no idea why AP can't catch, that's his greatest weakness or our O coordinators biggest weakness. Saw Jared Allen a couple weeks ago, wonder if he got a bear ? Isn't too often you roll through town and see #69 in camo assuming bear or early goose were the only things open. Looking at the vikes schedule, seems like a 6-10 season is upon us. I gave Ponder the benefit of the doubt, I'm done, here's why, there hasn't been 1 thing he's really done in the 1st 2 games that Cassel or that 2 last named guy couldn't have done. We'll see if AP can get it rockin when his FB gets back from suspension. Wonder where the vikes had Kaepernick ranked on their QB board ? We went with Ponder, if you put those 2 side by side at a workout wouldn't you realize which is simply the better option. You can not Tavaris Jackson miss on that QB pick or else. Drew Brees was once available and we like the big 10, Manning was available we made no attempt, we saw what favre could do, daing.

The Vikes make every team they play look good. I hate to say it but we suck and it is due to Ponder.
I agree we suck but if you think its due to ponder solely you really need to rethink things. Fake punt? First down. Fake FG? TD. talk official call on a muffed punt/fumble 15 yard penalty when it should have been loss of timeout.

Ponder didn't lose the game but he didn't win it either. Plenty of blame to go around.

Ponder's ineptitude would be even more evident if his D hadn't gotten him 4 turnovers today. Can you imagine where they'd be if the D wasn't keeping them in the games the last few weeks? Every game would have been a blowout, based on the performance of our offense.

I agree its not all on Ponder. This team is a mess in a handful of areas. Including coaching. But how many games of QB ratings of 70 and under can we take?

Pittsburgh is going to eat us alive next week.... And they are horrible right now.

Go Pittsburgh. Any move in a positive direction for the Queens is only going to elongate the mediocrity.

Offensive line = sucks

Entire defense = sucks

Adrian Peterson = ordinary

QB = worst in the league

Who needs everything?

I'd have to agree. There seems to be a noteable difference in quality between our o-line, and our d-line. And I will be the first to admit, what I just said is the "Greatest Understatement of the Year!" Our d-line is pretty strong, although giving away the last two games in the last few seconds of the game doesn't make them look too good. Our pass coverage remains, as always, weak.

I don't understand how this could be happening at this level? As I watched play after play after play, the Viking's offensive line almost completely unable to stop any pass rush, I couldn't help but be reminded of watching a 9th grade boys football team. It was simply unbelievable. Against a mediocre defensive line they just could not hold the offensive line. There were actually offensive plays where almost every defensive lineman for Cleveland were able to get to Ponder at the same time!?! How can EVERYONE get thru?

Honestly, what are these guys getting paid for? All I could do is shake my head. We're really in deep this year. It's going to be a very long, painfully embarrassing season to watch the Vikings.

Perhaps this will make the powers that be reconsider re-building the team before building the new stadium? mad

Well I did preface my statement by saying it was theoretical. The team has taken a major step backward this year in almost all phases of the game. Last year we won 10 games with Ponder, given a good QB we probably win 2-3 more games and could have been considered a contender, I don't think we'd have had a serious chance at the super bowl but we may have been able to make things a little more interesting than the one horrible play off game.

After thinking about it a little more I'm actually liking the way this season is shaping up. I said before the season that I want this year to be difinitive one way or the other. I either wanted Ponder to show he can be our franchise QB or I wanted him to implode so bad that there was no way they can keep stringing him along for another year. I also want to get a difinitive answer as to whether or not our coaches are up to the task. And so far I'm getting just what I wanted. We are seeing very clear evidence that changes need to be made at QB and at at least some if not all coaching positions.

Now the key is for the team to actually make those changes. They way it looks we should be picking pretty high in the draft so hopefully we can take another swing at drafting our QB of the future. If we draft our new QB thats a great time to also bring in a new coaching staff and let them start fresh with a new QB.

    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
