That works pretty good. I have moved the electric winch to the third stall now so it isn't over the boat. I was getting to old to lift it up and out of the way on a shelf every spring, so I bought the winch and now all I do is push a button to put it away with everything packed away inside of the otter. That was one of my few good ideas I have had.

Oh no that's the production model. This was the prototype.

alright guys that's enough fun for me. I wish i could post a picture of a real rig, but as of now it's either a pair of waders, a canoe, or a float tube and some swim trunks. Someday though...

79 Starcraft that barely floated on a good day with a melted 70 Johnson.

It became this,

And after a bit of work, not too much cash, and a lot of beer, it morphed itself into this,

Then, a bit more money, time, my handy dandy machine shop, and of course more beer, the melted motor turned into a 70 Johnson with a rebuilt powerhead and lower unit.

Since these pics were taken, I've built and installed a windshield, switched to HB electronics, and put on a different trolling motor. Most importantly, it floats, the motor starts, and it's paid for.

My buddys ready to go!!!

I really enjoy seeing the newer boats but I rock the older, custom built, hand made stuff.
