I just order the pillow packs directly from oil.com

I have a hard time finding it in the Rochester area too. Finally gave up on searching and just have it delivered to my door.

The first bottle I ever came across was sitting on the shelf at some hole in the wall gas station just south of I Falls. Even the guy working the station said it was the best stuff ever. I think he's right....

Check your local auto parts store and make sure it is the Saber Professional or order from the Oilman. I order it from him and have received it the next day cause it ships out of Superior WS.

Here is a Link to his site. There is a picture of the bottle so you will know what you are looking for in the parts store if you decide not to order.

mnguy152, The best way to be certian you get the right product for your app is to order from 'the oilman'. Don's very good at his job, and provides very quick service to your doorstep! Otherwise, order directly from Amsoil off their HSOforum. The pillow packs are just right for a 1 gallon gas can. To mix the 100:1 (1 packet/1 gallon) or the 80:1 (1 packet/8/10ths gallon) mix. The product you're looking for is 'Amsoil Saber Professional 100:1 Pre-Mix Synthetic 2-cycle oil'. Phred52

Amsoil Saber Professional

Can be used in ANY Ice Auger? Right?

I have heard it is better than use like jiffy and strikemaster smokeless oil right??

thanks

Amsoil Saber Professional can be used in, and is designed for, all 2-cycle air-cooled engines. I've run it in my Weed Eater weed whip the past two summers in the heat at 100-1 (mfr recommends 50-1), in my John Deere chain saw at 100-1 (mfr recommends 40-1) and Strikemaster Lazer Mag auger at 50-1 (mfr recommends 24-1). The auger is barely broken in, only having 1 1/2 tanks of gas run thru it at 24:1, so I figure I'll run it this year at 50-1 then go to 100-1 next year.

All the above engines run better at the leaner mix; start easier both cold and warm; smoke very, very little if at all; have as much or more power; do less stuttering at idle, and have shown no problems whatsoever.

As for the question asked by the original poster, the only place I've found the Saber oil is at a small engine/power sports place in Red Wing, that also has a branch in NW Rochester. Other than that, I know it can be ordered through the Oilman, who posts on this site, or at the Amsoil web site.

I'm sold on the Saber Pro, it's the real deal.

I run my Eskimo Z-51 auger, 2 Stihl Chainsaws, my weed whip and the 2 Lawnboy mowers at the lake, all from 2 gas cans. Both are mixed @ 100:1 Non-Oxy gas and Amsoil. I don't have to contend with different ratio mixes anymore and the equipment starts/ runs better than ever!! With the auger, the fish house walls are CLEAN!! My saw smoke actually smells good, and the mowers and weed whip, well for being used maybe 5-6 times a season, I can always count on them to start and not be fouled out by old oil/gas. ONCE you've tried Amsoil and cleaned the 'goo' from your 2 strokes, you'll be converted!! I'm now into my ~15th year, I WOULDN'T even consider going back to 'Dinosauer-Oil'. Phred52

In Bloomington, there is a certain auto parts store that rhymes with Fred Sheuster that carries the whole line, except for the pillow packs. An 8oz bottle of Amsoil Sabre Pro goes for less than $5 out the door. Otherwise, hit up the oilman if you'd like to have it delivered, or if you'd prefer the pillow packs.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
