Lunker
I always enjoy the thread that usually gets started every year showing folks stand view or setup. Better late then never. Here's my sit last night. Let's see your pics ozzie, Mike89 and leech~~

nofishfisherman
View from the ground blind. Straight ahead there is a secondary trail moving left to right that goes around some wet lowland and that intersects with a larger main trail that was out the window to my right that skirts the lowland on the north side. I have the blind set up so that the secondary trail is 20 yards away and the main trail is 17 yards away. Had a doe walk down the secondary trail the first day I hunted this spot but had the blind set up in a different location and I didn't see the doe until it was 10 feet from my blind and by that time its mighty hard to draw a bow without spooking a deer thats close enough to know what I had for breakfast. ozzie

Timber Ghost
lol that is an old high fence that for the most part is down in alot of the areas which is great due to the fact that those spots are well established funnel spots for their travel and our stand locations. leech~~
Lunker
Couple more sits in different spots this week. Seeing smaller bucks moving. First is a little valley with a spring originating in it. A snowmobile path runs through it. Is a great travel corridor connecting two creek bottoms and two ridges. Second is from a ridgtop stand not far from ag between a bedding area. Mostly just a nice view of the valley behind me. ozzie

certified jumbo
Those hard to reach places are so fun to hunt. Hunting a small island in a Tamarac swamp. Lunker

Lunker
First evening in Missouri yesterday. Hunting a wooded creek bottom at a spot that intersects several small wooded draws and pasture. Bass Whacker
Well with the lead stingers out in the woods I've had to resort to hunting my parents 4 acres in the middle of a residential area. Hopefully the big 8 comes by again tonight at a little slower pace! Lunker and ozzie
Bass Whacker
Well here's one more because the all day sit has been pretty boring. Had to move the stand about 40 yards yesterday to try and cut the 8 pointer off on what's become his usual route over the last week. Between me and my dad we've seen him everyday this week... we're getting closer! Edited November 12, 2016 by Bass Whacker
paceman
Went this morning for a quick sit. Hoping the cold weather would put them on their feet. Interesting walking in under the shadows of the nearly full moon! Did not see any this morning but it is a very good spot and I will be back! paceman
The same stand Saturday Morning. Love hunting in the snow! Saw 5 the first hour, none after 8:00 am. Only sat until 9:00. Got pretty cold, 15 degrees! ozzie and huntnfish
Bass Whacker
Hoping to catch a buck cruising for one last doe tonight. This should be interesting considering I'm in orange, the wind is swirling, and unless the deer are out on the crp my longest clear shot will be no more than 15 yards... hoping for a dumb one! Lunker
Had to go all the way back to Missouri to hunt in the snow this year! Beautiful morning but not much movement. Did see some late rut activity Friday. ozzie
Wanderer
One reason for me to be muzzleloading is to scout areas for next bow season. I liked this low area I found yesterday. I got a good feel for how the deer use it. Saw one small 8 and had two put their tracks in mine, but out of sight. I'd hunt it differently with a bow. ozzie

Bass Whacker
Well I took last weekend off to sit on the ice, but it's crunch time now. Only a week and a half left. Lunker
