So is anyone actually fishing anymore?

I myself have been out three times this week and will be going out again today. I have been giving reports but seems like I am one of the few. Are people just on here to complain about trash (not that theres anything wrong with that) or are people just really that tight-lipped?

If you read my reports you will note that I dont give real specifics, but let peeps know there are fish biting. Just saying these boards are real quiet on this front and getting boring to read frown

Agreed Donk, There is plenty of ice left for fishing in most areas, I have been out twice this week, caught a bunch of perch and a few crappies in the Bemidji Area.

Anyone ever see the trash left over at a major sporting event?

I'm cleaning my ice house and puttin it away. Boat trailer is getting fixed as I type and prop shaft rebuild is done. I'm in spring mode and can't look back. Which means more room for you fellas. Give em heck.

Went out last night and hit a pretty hot Crappie bite fishing in about 20fow. I'm afraid that last night will be my last trip out on the ice for this season. The ice was in great shape still. Time to start getting ready for summer.

Just got back from Canada and with each passing day it got worse and worse. With the 18"+ of snow they got last Tuesday it put a lot of pressure on the lakes and the 6+ inches of slush under the 2 1/2 ft of snow made it almost impossible to get around on lakes. The spot we fished Last Thursday we went back to on Sunday and there was open water from the holes we cut. Almost lost a sled in 9 ft of water. be careful all the river and creek mouths are running now with the warm weather. If yuo have snow shoes bring them.

The poeple who put on sporting events hire people to clean up after them. We don't have anyone to clean up after us.

Was out Sunday, planned on it yesterday evening til the wind picked up to 30 mph and plan on getting out Sat and Sun. This about the only time of the ice fishing season I seem to be able to find Crappies. Well I don't really try to hard until now so that probably has something to do with it wink
