goblueM
I'm jonesing for those hot summer days when early dawn and evening fishing are possible before work...I'm planning on fishing a lot more deep cranks, slow rolling spinnerbaits, and using big plastics for bass and muskies this year. Cannot WAIT!

SSCHOPSHOP
Oh come on now, Winter is the best. Out in the wheel house, (I call it the Lake home)cheep taxes lol, put down the rattle wheels, cook some venison and fish on the stove, maybe some venison chilly, watch TV, two line, and just RELAX. Its the best.
WingDing2
OK If yer gonna be that way...Out on the big lake in my "Sporty" on a nice warm day sitting over a giant school of fat hungry walleyes with my favorite beverage in shorts and a t-shirt with my buddys and our gals in there bikinis! with the tunes cranked catching fish! I would post some photos but.... Oh I almost forgot it's not -20 degrees!
Nick Kuhn
Wingding has the idea. I don't participate in the frostbite (or ice fishing as some of you call it), so I'd like open water 365 days a year. Whatever happened to global warming anyway.... Sandmannd
I'm getting the itch to hit the river. Got too much going on this weekend, hopefully the next warm weekend I can make it. Planned way to many tourneys and events this year. But still fun.

snoozebutton
They keep saying it's going to warm up but I had 26 below this morning. A warm breeze with the waves lapping up against the side of the boat, the sound of loons in the background, a gentle tug tug tug on the end of the rod. Somebody slap me, I think I'm delirious. SimilarIsland
Anticipation of the strike, as the violent swirl of a large Pike in the grassy shallows propels him toward my unsuspecting spinnerbait................. Fever
Just heard on radio (830 wcco) that there is a bill being proposed to legislature in reference to minnesota aglers possibly being able to fish with two lines on open water. I personally target bass most of the time but that may come in handy while fishing walleye with slip bobbers or panfish. Any thoughts? BobT
Refer to the Outdoor Discussion threads for all kinds of thoughts. Best not to take this thread down that road as well.Bob
TonkaBass
Ok, I seriously can't take to much of this winter thing! I'm a bass fisherman by nature, but I am also looking forward to trolling for crappies with my girlfriend. I just love seeing those papermouths skim the surface when you reel them in!
