DEADhead
The only trip so far that's officially 'planned' is the annual trip to the BWCA out of Lake One. I'll also be hitting a few lakes along the Fernberg Road. The beauty of it all is, I travel statewide for work, so you never know where I'll end up. So far planned for the year is the Knife R, Dark R., LOW.... And when I get home from work, I can fish the fabulous lakes of Detroit Lakes. It's a rough job but somebody has to do it

It is an unusual year for me this year and my wife has been very understanding. I have to believe that at some point I will run out of kitchen passes but with 3 little ones coming into the fishing age who knows! I am hoping to swing a trip to Great Slave Lake for some of those huge lakers in a year and a half. I may have to forego the Algoma trips that year as the open water season is real limited up there and only lasts a month & 1/2-2 months. Looking foreward to the open water season! Sounds like you guys have some great time on the water ahead of you! Good luck to all of you!Tunrevir~
Slyster
I bet I'll go as far away as Bald Eagle Lake.. and maybe.. just MAYBE.. Forest Lake.....But seriously.. besides staying in my home area for most of the season.. I will be spending at least 2 or 3 long weekends camping/boating in the Wabasha area... (we usually tent at Hoksila in Lake City).. not just for fishing, but also simple fun and exploration of the river backwaters with the kiddies. Snake hunting too of course (Nelson, WI area)... I catch Massassaga and Timber rattlers here every summer.. and Fox Snakes, Hognose snakes, and many others... C&R of course.. they make for great photos and reptiles are my other cold blooded interest!

kdawg
every year, second weekend of fishing, I look forward to staying on west sealy bay on cut foot sioux and have 3 full days of fishing on winnibigosh. We have about 4 to 5 boats and a few campsites. I'm going to Grand Cayman and Las Vegas this year, but nothing compares to how excited I get prior to second weekend on lake winnie - a zillion different spots to try and usually good fishing.
