First fish today went 41" Second fish came just three casts later and on a figure 8, around 37". They look very similiar but look close enough they are two different fish... thrax
Lake Vermilion bite remains very good to excellent. What a great time to be there, as fish are going bonzai and action has been fantastic the last week with 7 more boated and plenty lost and follows on almost every cast, lol. It has been very good. Here's a few photos from this week, the date is messed up on a couple as had changed batteries on the fly and didn't get it reset before it was needed for the pics. Not pictured are Jeremy with a 42 and Joe from Clearwater with 42.5 and a nice 52. Ian holding a 44 from Wed night. Jeremy with a 45 from Fri night. Jeremy with another 45 from Sat night. Jeremy with a 50.5 also from Sat night.

bmp78
I finally caught my first muskie Saturday night on Mille Lacs. It took a little time to accomplish this, but finally did it. Not the biggest of fish that I see here, but one needs to start somewhere. Great pictures everyone. Sorry for the poor picture, but it was with a camera phone and a newbie photographer. Tim_Anderson
Congrats bmp. That's a good fish I would take anytime! The september full moon has been really fun for us too. We've boated 15 fish in the past five nights. Biggest was 50. Most have been boated after dark although we had some good action yesterday during the day with a 47, a lost fish, and some follows. Good action again after dark too. Kinda torn here. Would like to keep the ball rolling tonight but my schedule is getting all screwed up too. Afraid I'm becoming a night owl from fishing all night and sleeping away the day. Now I can relate a little more to my young adult kids tho!Oh well...guess I'll go fishin! bmp78
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments. Tim, Where do you mainly guide? I would like to explore some more waters but feel a guide would be a necesity to do so.
