Those of you who know me know that my better half was pregnant. I say was, because she had our beautiful baby girl on Saturday morning at 1:11.

Her name is Emma, and she weighed in at 7 lbs., 12.6 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long.

Just thought I'd share a little joy with everyone. Both mom & baby are home & doing great. Dad missed the Forest Lake contest, but will happily take the trade. grin.gif

I've got some stogies for a few of you... give 'em to you when I see ya!

Nice goin' slick, congratulations to you and your wife.

Make sure you get her watching the Outdoor Channel ASAP. My three year old loves to watch it with me on Saturday mornings, and she can do a pretty good elk squeal with her own voice now, LOL.

Congrats slick! I hope you enjoyed your days of sleeping! Our little guy is almost 3 months old and I haven't slept a decent night for... well... about 3 months now!

"way to go my friend"!!! Yes, wee ones cut down on the out door time a little bit, but that time is replaced with time of helping YOUR DAUGHTER learn ALL!!!! What an experience!! My daughter is now 11 and can out Walleye fish most of my buddies grin.gif

Thanks for all the well -wishes, guys. We appreciate it!

As far as being a fishergirl, well, let's just say that she's got a couple of good teachers. One of her sisters caught her first fish ever through the ice a few years back. She outfishes most people I know, and is learning Bass techniques now... grin.gif (Good thing Mom doesn't mind us fishing so much)

My time on the hard water will be cut down a bit for now, but hey, after all is said and done, another young one to take out will be worth it!!

The sleep deprivation isn't so bad so far.. but it's just beginning. Amazing how much you forget in 7 years. She's already watching the Outdoors channels with me, heck, some show late last night helped get her back to sleep cool.gif

Stratos- be ready any day... Emma wasn't supposed to arrive until the 23rd... but she had other plans.

Again, thanks for the well wishes, guys... She's derfinitely the catch of the year in the Slick household! cool.gif

CONGRATULATIONS SLICK anmd MRS SLICK!!! We have 2 boys. The days that they were born were beyond a shadow of a doubt the two greatest days of my life! Such an awesome gift that God has given us, cherrish and take care of her always. Have a good one and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
