Saw a dead one that had been hit by a car on the drive up for deer hunting a little over a week ago. Looked like a good sized bear.

It was on HWY 10, I think around the Motely area.

I usually bump into one every year bowhunting, week before deer season opened this year. Brainerd area.

saw 3 this year in onamia while bowhunting 2 weeks before rifle opener. Don't no why I always get nervous walking in or out in the dark just never know whats near. Have seen 5 others on trail cam this year. Wish they all would just leave for good

Saw a large bear cross hwy 64 near Leader in Sept.. Also had a cub and sow come inon me while bow hunting in Oct.

I saw one in the BWCA while paddling around. My wife saw one on a separate solo trip. We also saw one galloping through an open patch along the Gunflint.

I also saw one in an old Hamm's commercial that I saw on YouTube.

I haven't seen a bear in MN in the past 15 years but I know of at least three spotted near my home here in Osakis in the past six or seven years. In fact, just recently there was an article in the local paper about a black bear in a tree in town.

Crossing I-35 northbound just 2 miles from Mahtowa. Left a nasty dent in the front off our car. With road construction causing a single lane, had nowhere to go.

One ran across the road north of Dalbo and one ran across the road in Milaca and one ran across the road just south of Isle.. All within last three years.

buddy walked into a baby in the dark walking to the stand it stood on its hind legs and screamed at him, he crapped himself and ran back to the road, thankful mom didnt kill him
