Steve Foss
I never did understand why the Vikes let the best Wide Receiver in the game go............I bet if he was originally from St. Paul they would have never let him go................. For sure. They would have coined a cool nickname like Baby Jesus and enshrined him if he was from one of the Anointed Cities, or even a native of the Socialist State. Steve Foss
The meter maids in DT Murderapolis are dreading this trade. But I'm not- GET ER DUNNN Any TC meter maid with a stiff attitude and a stiff pump can pin Moss to the ground. He only jumps and grabs if there's money involved. FISHINGURU
Wow, that's all I can say right now, this is something I've only dreamed of and talked about but never thought it would actually happen! If we get Moss this will be the best complete Vikes squad ever.Don't be fooled Moss has alot left in the tank and still clowns CB's, bring him in with a chip on his shoulder. I've always wanted Moss to retire a Viking, he's the best WR in NFL history. Moss at 33 is 10x's better then Rice and look what Favre did with him. This would be totally MOSS-OME!Favre, Moss, Rice, Percy, Shanks, AP, Oh my!!
zepman
Since Moss wants a contract that goes beyond the end of this season, does that mean Favre in 2011? Favre-watch 2011 has officially begun! Maybe...maybe not. But it sure would bring the chances of landing someone like McNabb or Vick here alot more promising.....
MinnesnowtaWild
Hope the Vikings sign him just to make the team even more of a freak show.I'm sorry but I hate the Vikings.

leech~~
Cool! The Legends of the NFL right here in MN. Kind of like the Legends of Nascar!
Shack
Been confirmed. Deal is done and things have been signed. Everyone thought I was nuts about thinking Favre would wear purple and even him wearing purple again, just win $50 from a bet made back in Aug. baby. Yeah!!!!! DTro
At QB, maybe the best to have ever played the game.At WR. Top 5 of all time, maybe top 3At RB, best in the league and most likely a HOFerThat’s a pretty good 1,2,3 punch.Even if they still suck, it makes for good entertainment. Big Tom
Might just be enough to get them into the playoffs again. A 3rd rounder is cheap given how much investment has already been made this season. The Strib says Moss will not get an extension immediately. Smart move if true; Moss will have to earn it on the field.
pikestabber
I am as happy as anyone to get this deal done, but VERY disappointed by this: We traded Jayme Mitchell for a third rounder to Cleveland to make room on the roster... Mitchell was the MVP (IMO) of our pre-season... Why not cut Baskett...or Berrian for that matter? Not happy about that, but only a minor irritation in a sea of great news! SKOL! FISHINGURU
We actually got a 3rd for Mitchell? If thats true thats awesome, its like trading Mitchell for Randy Moss.Last I heard we got a late rounder for Mitchell, a 3rd would be stellar. creepworm
If that is true it would be better than getting moss for mitchell, assuming that the Browns have a worse record than the Vikings when all is said and done.
LMITOUT
Maybe...maybe not. But it sure would bring the chances of landing someone like McNabb or Vick here alot more promising..... When Philly signed Vick after he was reinstated I predicted that Vick would be MN's QB in two years. That would be 2011. Looks like the pieces are in place. PerchJerker
Favre's projected INT total just doubled. Your anti-Purple propaganda storm cracks me up LMIT But hey, what just happened to Farve's projected TD total?
LMITOUT
Are we going to revive the "Randy Ratio" again? If so, then Favre's INT total just tripled.I'm also betting that Favre's "knocked-down" and "sack" numbers are rising too. With that horrible O-Line he's going to get smoked back there trying to set up the bombs to Moss. As seen in the first three games he's been getting pounded just trying to get off a quick pass to the slant. I think the Moss deal will come back to bite them sooner than later.
