This buck is licking a branch. There's always a scrape under this tree later in the fall.

Some pics from my last batch. The first three are all the same bucks, a nice tall ten, I have a lot of pictures of him.

Note the last one has the velvet off.

3-4am seems to be hot time - I've noticed the same thing. More comfortable moving when it's cool out. Nice bucks 'jack - that 10pt is a beauty.

put some 6" brows on that 10 and he'd be boone. he's in the low 60's now.

I agree, he will probably have a very few deductions and score really well. Great looking buck. Hope you get a crack at him.

1am to 4am here, even the young 2.5's don't seem to show themselves during shooting hours.

I hope I see that 10 point this fall!!! He hangs out with a nice 8, the 8 is also wider than his ears and has longer brow tines.

Becker County. An hour East of Fargo. This is the 2nd year in a row I have caught a big cat in this location. So don't tell me cat's are just passing through hunting. The DNR needs to wake-up and smell the kitty litter.

Thats a bobcat.

The face sure looks like a bobcat, but it is hard to tell. If there was some better size references and or color or tail.

Oddly, I have seen 2 definite Mt Lions, and one Lynx, but I can't remember actually seeing a bobcat in the wild.

I think cougar. looks to have the long hair on the jaws like a bobcat and a lynx, but i don't see any tufts on the tip of his ears he should have, no spots or multicoloring either. although my IR cameras don't show color patterns sometimes, i have a mossy oak pair of pants, and when my camera takes my pic walking to my bowstand, and i look at the pictures, that particular pair of pants show up solid for some reason.

I too thought bobcat, but without a reference for size it's tough to say. It sure does look skinny in the top two pictures.

That last buck is a dandy Stick.

Idf I could see the tail and the legs, I would go with a cougar.
