SkunkedAgain
I started with a simple premise of putting some boating-related songs on a CD for while on the water. My first two choices are morbid, but I went with "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and "I'm Your Captain" by Grand Funk. What other boat songs do you all recommend? Anyone have recommendations for where to find sea shanties?

titelines
+1 for Zamboni's suggestion. Also try "Bars, Ballads and Beaches" by Buffett. Lee Murdock and Gordon Lightfoot for the feel of the Northwoods/Great Lakes. "Wooden Ships" and "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young "Crystal Ship" by The Doors Captain and Tenneale? McGurk
As much as I can't stand this song: "Fishing in the Dark" by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.To go with Gilligan's island, there's always the Love Boat theme song or Miami Vice theme song.

Shorelunch
About any Buffett is great summer music. I also like "sailing" from Christopher Cross, "Two Pina Coladas" from Garth Brooks and of course, "Escape (if you like Pina Coladas song)," from Rupert Holmes I think. I'll throw in "Lady" from Little River Band, too.
