The worst movie sequel???

Ditto the Star Wars "prequels." I would also say everyone of the Rocky movies after the original until the most recent one. Funny, the first one is one of the best movies of all time, the next four suck and the final one is pretty solid.

I also watched the third pirates of the caribean movie the other night. That's three hours of my life I'll never get back.

The NEW Karate Kid. Karate Kid 3 was a stinker as well, but bringing in Hillary Swank was bad.

I thought the third Austin Powers was bad, and the second Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise was bad, but the third one was good. Don't forget the Police Academy movies. What was there, like 20 of those?

Matrix Reloaded wan't very good. Agree on Austin Powers 3 being a miss, but 1 & 2 were 10/10's in my mind. I can't imagine anyone not laughing at these? Scream 2, terrible.

On the flip side, some of my favorite sequels include Empire Strikes back, Two Towers, and Aliens. Much better than the originals.

I would have to say the worst sequel to follow a great movie would have to be either dumb and dumberer or caddieshack II. Going from two of the top ten comedies ever made to that garbage? Why even bother making the movie?
