RumRiverRat
The 40 year old hillbilly needs to retire. The interception in the 4th quarter cost the vikes the game.Favre could have run for 10 to 15 yards and put them in field goal range.Absolutely disgusting.Typical Favre.Retire to Kiln, Mississippi and baby sit your kleptomaniac sister in law. gregg52
i think thats alittle harsh he maybe made a bad decisionbut he wasnt the one that droped the balls and i guess i would like to see you say that face to face with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Burnham
how does he always get blamed? he is the one that singlehandedly put them in that position. throughout the season AND the game. if our run game was worth a darn we wouldnt have been in that position. grousehunter
not maybe...he definatly made a bad decision, but it was by far a team loss in this game.

bak2MN
Cannot blame farve for all of the vikes troubles today and im not a real big farve fan but i am a true vike fan.
TurnUpTheFishing
While we should have atleast had a shot at the FG. This loss cant be pinned on one guy.
luckycrank
AMEN BROTHER!! 5 turn overs and your still in it at over time till the last play! if I was a Saints fan I would be pattin' myself on the back right about now I am not dissapointed however! the second the ball left Farves hands I felt it comin' greed always catches with em'. They never settle for the A.P first down he'll pump and pump for an extra yard only to get stripped. Throw an interception. instead of kickin a 51 yarder! which Farve could have trimmed off a few yards by running could have probally gained 10 more back to concentrating on fishing now anyway! where is the green bay fan that said in an earlier post just wait the interseptions will come! come on give it to us or at least me, I aint afraid to take it. luckycrank
I would agree that most vikings fans rallied behind farve without many complaints and were way more supportive than Jackson so what was gained this year Jackson sat on the bench most of the time. which I still do not have full confidence in returning us to the play offs next year. A for Farve ,I can't see him playing again next year. he's lucky to be walking SAGE ROSENTHAL ( not the answer ) veterans are set backin IMHO! the exact reason I was against the hole Farve thing they come and they go! it'll be a few more years before we see anything great become of the QB position. swamptiger
I agree it was the last turnover that cost us the game, however, there were too many turnovers, period..Still a great game and I couldn't believe the pounding Favre took. Sad part is if they played five games in a row the Vikes would come out on top...

Have another one!!! Favre at 40 yrs old with a bad ankle was not going to run far, did you watch the game? or were you just sitting on the computer pretending? jwhjr
10 or 15 yards may be a stretch, but he probably could have gotten at least 5 and a feet first slide to at least get it back to a 50 or so yard FG attempt.
JAfish
Exactly correct!! He wasn't going anywhere down that sideline- maybe 3-5 yards. Pass would have centered the ball between hash marks. Should have been running out the clock with a 10 pt. lead anyway. Wasn't Brett's fault-- Period.
zamboni
Shouldn't even have had to come to that. I love Adrian Peterson to death, but his fumbling of the hand off exchange at the 10 yard line is what cost us the game. That was a guaranteed 3 or 7 points, making that last drive somewhat pointless because we would have had the lead.
